ClickStream – Every Click, Each Like, hashtag, search, response, or swipe you type on a machine connected to the internet including what shows you watch on your smart tv, becomes a bread crumb factor in a matrix that defines how best to manipulate you.
My Ford Ranger’s basically a narc, begging to phone home with my “listening habits” and every turn I take. Meanwhile, my Samsung Smart TV’s playing interior designer, shuffling my streaming apps like it’s auditioning for a chaos award. Anyone else feel like their tech’s staging a data heist? 🙄 hashtag#TechLife hashtag#BigDataBlues

– (NEXSTAR) – Google has agreed to pay $68 million to settle a class action lawsuit accusing it of secretly recording smart device users, according to a court document filed Friday in Northern California. The case centers around the Google Assistant tool, which is only supposed to record when so-called hot word phrases such as, “Hey Google,” or “Okay Google” are used, or when someone manually presses a button on the device.
(Jan 2026)- Canada’s Bill C-8, introduced in June 2025, empowers the Minister of Industry to secretly order telecom providers to sever internet and phone services for targeted individuals deemed threats to the national telecom system. No warrant required; no notification to targets. “Take their phones” inflates the text—it’s service denial, not device confiscation.
The EU is implementing a new Entry/Exit System (EES) starting October 12, 2025 (with phased rollout) which will collect biometric data — namely facial images and fingerprints — from non-EU nationals entering the Schengen (external) borders. The EES will replace passport “stamping” and will register name, travel document type, travel dates, and biometric data (face + fingerprints).
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) uses biometric facial comparison at many airports. According to CBP, this capability is in place at 238 airports, including all 14 CBP Preclearance locations.
• The U.S. is expanding biometric exit controls: a recent interim rule cleared by the White House authorizes a comprehensive biometric regime, including facial recognition, for departures (not just arrivals) at U.S. borders.
• The expansion of facial biometrics at exit is part of the broader CBP goal of full traveler biometric coverage for entry and exit.
– Starting May 7, 2025, anyone age 18 or older will need a REAL ID-compliant license (or another acceptable ID like a passport) to:
• Board domestic commercial flights, or
• Enter certain secure federal facilities and military bases.
ID is a federal identity-security standard for driver’s licenses and state-issued identification cards.
It was established by the REAL ID Act of 2005, passed after 9/11 to strengthen the reliability of identification used for federal purposes—especially boarding commercial aircraft and entering federal buildings.
🔹 Core Purpose: To make state-issued IDs harder to forge and more uniform nationwide by requiring:
• Verified proof of identity, date of birth, social security number, and lawful status.
• Verification of residential address using valid documents.
• Secure document production and storage at the state level.
The UK government under Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced plans to introduce a “digital ID” scheme (sometimes called “Brit Card”) that would become mandatory for “Right to Work” checks by the end of this Parliament (i.e. employers must verify a person’s right to work using the digital ID).
